Lyrics:

The Longer I Live

The longer I live , the more I see
All things have changed, and seem different to me.
But as we pass on through our time,
We all notice that life’s easy in our prime.
*
Everybody wants to go to heaven,
  Yet nobody wants to die.
I’m not sure about either want,
Yet I look for answers in the sky.
*
So many things are left unsaid,
So many directions, we are led,
So many hours, yet so few,
  Spending time without you.
*
Like a Canary in the coal mine,
I’ll  be the first to know
It’s easy they say just to back away
When the pressure is on to go

Chorus
*  And we all  tried to tune in , in three part harmony
It was a turn on, to put it simply,
So when we  dropped out, our world became clear,
It  happened long ago, in a time we hold so dear
