Williams catches Lightning in a Bottle

Chuck Williams gives us all a little Lightning in a Bottle with his latest work. Williams has made a name for himself as an anti-war and peace advocate, something not being done nearly enough in this era of American invasions into foreign lands. Williams' 10 track Americana gem shows considerable growth from his 2008 critically acclaimed album, Smart Too Late Old
Too Soon.

Like his song that climbed high on Neil Young's Living With War: Songs of the Times chart, Williams gives another 1960's-style folk blessing called       "I Want My Country Back," which criticizes the mistake of entering into armed conflict.  He suggests throughout the call to peace, for people to lay down the old ways of thinking, break the mold, and blaze a new path. The collaborative effort with award winning songwriter Michael Troy shows clarity and simplicity precious to folk musicians.

What stands out about Lightning in a Bottle is Chuck Williams' passion, lyric directness and vocal maturation. He's obviously a musician on the rise.
