Songwriters Sessions in the Round is a monthly series devoted to the craft of songwriting. Participants are assigned a theme one month in advance, chosen by the previous month’s audience and share their songs and songwriting process in the 3rd round of the night.  Local and regional artists are featured in this series.

This months Songwiters will be Beth Desombre ( Boston)  Chris Moon ( Providence) and Devlin Moss (NYC) with Chuck Williams (Cape Cod) as guest host filling in for Lisa Martin..

Soule Homestead Emerging Artist Showcase. I will be on the bill of 8 artists selected for this Emerging Artist Showcase. Each performer will get a 20 minute set. One of the participants will be selected for a slot in the Joe Davies Folk Festival on Sunday September 21st. The music committee will make the selection after the showcase on August 23rd and the winner will be notified within a day or two.

The Aquidneck Island Arts Festival takes place at scenic Newportspremier waterfront event site, the Newport Yachting Center.  I will be performing a 45 minute set beginning at 4:00 PM.

Evelyn's Restaurant once again hosts the Singing Out Against Hunger Benefit

Sing Out Against Hunger Concert at Evelyn's Restaraunt in Tiverton, RI is for a great cause and I am honored to be a part of this for my 4th year. This show is the kick off of the weekend's benefits to raise money and food for the areas less fortunate. There will be musicians every hour performing music to help this organization.  Donations are encouraged for the Food pantry, either non-perisihables or monetary are welcome.

I will be getting the weekend off to a start on Friday at 5 PM for a 45 minute set.  This is a beautiful waterfront site at the very popular Evelyn's Seafood Restaurant.  Conme on down and join the fun, bring a friend!

The Taunton River Folk festival is organized as a benefit for the Taunton River Watershed Alliance (www.savethetaunton.org), under the aegis of The Dessert Club, a 501C(3) organization formed to promote live folk music and the arts in Greater Taunton, Mass. The Festival’s theme is unifying music, community and environment to increase awareness and stewardship of our precious watershed area. Performers in the Festival will all participate in workshops, panel discussions and jam sessions, in the spirit of “front porch” music … the very essence of the folk tradition. <br> <br>

This is my favorite Coffeehouse on the SouthCoast of Massachusetts.  This venue has a listening crowd and I often get a SRO crowd here.  Cathy & Manny Perry have had me back for several years now.  I should go on about 8 PM for a 40 minutre set including your favorites and tracks from my latest EP, 'Peace Trilogy' and tunes fresh from the studio.

This evening will be special. A showcase of original music from the Rhode Island Songwriters Association.  I’ll be joining Host John Fuzek, Paul Pasch, Sandy Allen in night of Acoustic Singer/Songwriters.

Recently I did a benefit at this coffeehouse for the local food pantry along with friends Ross Robinson & John Botelho.  They liked what we did so much they gave us our own show on December 13th.

This will be so much fun, the three of us all know each others music so expect osome collaborations and cross accompanyment.  Ross, does Blues, John does Folk/Country and I do Folk/Rock.  This wil be a special night.
